British Moto GP 2013 Silverstone

British Moto GP 2013 Silverstone

When we were in Turkey, we were riding in every possible occasion but since we came to London we are away from our bikes and our riding joy and we miss to be on the way again. Normally we are not very big fans of racing bikes or watching the races from tv but we definitely enjoy to watch the Moto GP on the track.

Last four days we were in Silverstone for British Grand Prix 2013 and we came back home with lots of beautiful photos and big smiles in our faces. We watched with big pleasure big boys leaning in the curves just in front of us, heard the amazing voice of the engines during three days.

Three Spanish riders Jorge Lorenzo, Marc Marquez and Dani Pedrosa crossed the checkered flag first, second and third but we supported as always our number 46, Valentino “The Doctor” Rossi. Our Italian boy finished fourth the race but still number one in our hearths.

Yesterday evening we were in O2 Arena for Arenacross London to watch the amazing show of motocross riders. We are motorcyle lovers, we love the idea of preparing two small bags and going for a ride (preferably to a small Greek island) but we are not big fans of watching motorcycle races on telly.

We love touring motorcycles, not the racer or motocross ones but on the other hand, we love watching live Moto GP races and we find really impressive watching so closely their actions at the curves. But we never watched an indoor motocross race until yesterday. Because of being an indoor track the atmosphere was little bit smoky and watching racers jumping and flying with their motorcycles all around (and meanwhile drinking few pints) was amazing.

In one part of the show, the little ones took place. Specially 7-10 and 10-12 years old racers were as breathtaking as the professionals and they earned all spectators respect with their talent and perseverance.

Now, while we are drinking our teas at home, still coming little bit smoke from our lungs but it worth to be there and being part of that ambiance.
